Introduction to Adult
Psychotherapy: 12 months
This course is specifically designed for those who want to
engage in the exploration of a wide variety of perspectives
in understanding the therapeutic process. Exploration
includes the history of the various therapeutic schools and
styles.
Examples of theoretical perspectives and approaches are:
Humanistic and Existential Psychology, Systemic Therapy,
C.B.T., Jungian Analytical Psychology, Psychoanalysis,
Eastern Philosophies and Indigenous Cultures and others.
Prospective applicants may be new to the world of therapy
or already have some experience and background in related
areas.

Adult Psychotherapy Training
(4 years)
Training Structure:
The Training runs for 12 months according to public school
terms or as negotiated between the trainee and trainer
This training is offered as a series of Individual Sessions
(distance option also available)
This programme is individually tailored according to the
trainee's capacity, background and experience.
One hour a week tutorial with your designated ICP Trainer
either face to face or via Skype internet camera
Reading, assignments and activities as arranged with your
trainer

Process:
Applicants will need to fill out an application form and
attend two pre-selection interviews (either in person or
via internet)
